YVRAS is an equity partner in MBJ Airports Limited, a consortium of two international partners holding a 30-year concession agreement with the government of Jamaica to manage, operate and develop the airport.
Montego Bay is located on the island's northwest coast, one of the world's most popular tourist destinations. In 2009, the second phase of a US$120-million airport expansion program was completed, which included new departure facilities and a new central retail precinct.
In 2009 the airport welcomed 3.2 million visitors and handled 37,500 aircraft movements.
