YVRAS is responsible for the management and operation of six airports for Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI, S.A. ("Aerodom"):

. Las Américas International Airport, Santo Domingo
. Dr. Joaquin Balaguer International Airport, Santo Domingo
. Gregorio Luperón International Airport, Puerto Plata
. María Montez International Airport, Barahona
. El Catey International Airport, Samaná
. Arroyo Barril International Airport, Samaná

Since 1999, YVRAS has been instrumental in the transition, operation and development of these airports.  In September 2008 Aerodom was sold to Advent International.  YVRAS will continue under an operations and management agreement, which includes the provision of executive staff, that runs until 2030.

In 2009 the airports collectively served 4.2 million passengers and handled 80,200 aircraft movements. TACA Airlines inaugurated new service from Lima, Peru at Las Américas Airport. El Catey Airport welcomed charter service from Helsinki, Finland and Oslo, Norway by TUIfly. Gregorio Luperón Airport welcomed additional charter service from Europe with Thomas Cook Airlines and Air Europa.

In 2010, Las Américas International Airport became an important and crucial launching pad for the transport of humanitarian aid to earthquake-stricken Haiti.

The Dominican Republic is one of the largest tourist destinations in the Caribbean.
