YVRAS, and its partners in the Hermes Airports Limited, officially assumed operations of the Larnaka and Pafos International Airports in May 2006.  Under a 25 year concession agreement with the government of Cyprus, the consortium has invested €642.7 million in construction at Larnaka and Pafos airports over the first three and a half  years of the agreement. 

In Pafos, a €126 million new terminal complex designed to handle 2.7 million passengers was officially opened in November 2008.  In Larnaka, a €517 million new terminal building designed to handle 7.5 million passengers was inaugurated on November 7, 2009.

In 2009 Larnaka and Pafos Airports collectively served 6.7 million passengers and handled 63,000 aircraft movements.
