visit websiteIn November 1997, YVRAS and its partners in SCL Terminal Aéreo Santiago S.A. Sociedad Concesionaria, were awarded a build, operate and transfer concession for Chile's largest airport.
Since 1998 the consortium has invested over US$220 million in infrastructure developments, which include expanding the international terminal and apron, constructing a new control tower, and installing a new operations centre and flight information display system. The airport has been recognized as "Best airport in Latin America". In 2009, Santiago Airport received the Air Cargo Excellence Award for South and Central America by Air Cargo World.
In 2009 the airport served 9 million passengers and handled 83,000 aircraft movements.
